541,369. Fire-engines. LEYLAND MOTORS, Ltd., and PILKINGTON, V. W. May 22, 1940, No. 9079. Drawings to Specification. [Class 47 (ii)] A fire-fighting motor-vehicle has a powerdriven pump and hose connections in front and the engine by which the vehicle and pump are driven at the rear. The body encloses the pump and engine and the hose connections are upon an end panel facing forward. Suction hose is supported on brackets and can be withdrawn forwards. An escape ladder is mounted as in Specification 427,570.
