536,985. Air injectors for furnaces. DODWELL, A. E. Feb. 6, 1940, No. 2251. [Class 51 (i)] In a secondary air injector for boiler furnaces of the kind provided with internal radial fins. the fins 2, Fig. 1, increase progressively in radial dimensions towards the outlet end of the injector which may be in the form of a Venturi tube. The fins decrease in thickness from their bases to their inner edges. In a modification the fins are arranged spirally or inclined to the axis of the injector.
