Abstract

536,926. Cartons &c. WOOD, D., and ROSE CONTAINERS, Ltd. Feb. 28, 1940, No. 3671. [Class 18] Cartons, boxes &c. of paper, cardboard &c. are formed from blanks as shown. A tubular body is formed by securing flap 27 by adhesive to panel 11, and thereafter base panels 22, 23, 24, 26 are folded in and secured by adhesive. Folding lines 17, 18, 19, 21 are staggered as indicated. The top is formed by folding along the dotted lines and the mouth secured by a metal clip. Extensions may also be formed on the three free edges of panel 23. The base may be recessed by means of dies. The upper end of the blank may be similar to the lower end. Dies may be used to depress the centre of the bottom.
