535,303. Ammunition receptacles. ABBOTT, S. C. Oct. 3, 1939, No. 27129. [Class 9 (i)] A container for a projectile fuze g comprises a cylindrical metal casing a, a liner formed by telescoped cardboard &c. tubes d, e presenting a step to receive a shoulder f on the fuze, and an upper distancering h, also of cardboard or like material, arranged to be clamped between a shoulder j on the fuze and a rubber &c. pad k in a closuremember c. The latter, which may be of the kind described in Specifications 23843/12, and 105,547, [both in Class 18], is adapted to engage the shaped rim b of the casing and is secured by a split metal band n. The bottom of the casing may be fitted with a disc or ring m of felt, cardboard, indiarubber, or the like.
