531,433. Pipe joints. GYLLENRAM, B. R. July 21, 1939, No. 21296. Convention date, Aug. 25, 1938. [Class 99 (i)] Comprises interengaging screwthreaded coupling members 4, 5 having smooth conical bores engaging the flared ends of pipes 1, 2 and a double conical ferrule 3 which is stepped at 10 in such a way as to offer no resistance to uncoupling other than friction. The taper of the bores of the members 4, 5 is slightly less than the taper of the pipe ends.
