Abstract
528,880. Inductances. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. May 16, 1939, No. 14613. Convention date, May 17, 1938. [Class 38 (ii)] In order to avoid inductive coupling between the A.C. windings of a polyphase regulating choke and D.C. saturating windings associated therewith, the core is divided into two parts each comprising four limbs, and the D.C. windings which are connected in series are arranged on three limbs in such manner that the fluxes produced thereby are in opposite directions in adjacent limbs. Specification 525,384 is referred to.
