Abstract
528,859. Portable scaffold. PRATT, E. G. May 8, 1939, No. 13701. [Class 20 (ii)] A collapsable, portable, scaffold comprises end frames 1, each formed of uprights 2 joined at their lower ends by a frame member 4 and permanently interconnected at various heights by transverse bars 3, the uprights having fixed thereto upper and lower socket members 11 adapted to receive the ends 10 of upper and lower rails 9 on each side of the frames. The end frames may be provided with castors, and vertical extensions may be provided for the uprights. A propelling unit and steering arrangement may also be provided when the scaffold is of large proportions.
