Abstract

527,960. Stencilling; inking. BRITISH PATENT UTILITY CO.; Ltd. April 24, 1939, No. 12334. Convention date, April 22, 1938. [Class 100 (ii)] Uniform impressions are obtained at substantially all points of a stencil hand stamp with ink container by adjusting the stiffness or shape of the cover 6 and perforated plate 1 by screws 4. The screws also secure the handle 7. The stencil 12 is attached to the pad 2 by a clamping ring 11 housed in the stepped edges of the pad, leaf springs 9 being secured to the ring to ensure the rapid return of the stamp. Ink is forced into the container from an ink pump or tube through screw-threaded openings 8 normally closed by screw plugs 8a.
