Abstract

527,926. Aerials. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. April 17, 1939, No. 11612. Convention date, April 16, 1938. [Class 40 (v)] A substantially non-directional aerial comprises a pair of single or multiple wires A, B, Fig. 1, arranged at an angle of 90 degrees to each other, the transmission line TL being directly connected to the inner ends. The wires are a quarter wavelength long, or an odd multiple thereof, and one or more adjacent wires A<SP>1</SP>, Bl may be provided, the adjacent wires being connected together as shown in Fig. 3. The wires may be of different thicknesses. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 similar arrangements of half-wave wires are described. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
