[Class 87 (ii)] Writing chalks &c. are cast in cavities 12 in rubber or like mould elements 11 that are adapted to be compressed to reduce the cavities by wedge-operated bars 13, 14 in a frame 10. When the chalks have set, the bars are moved outwardly, thus allowing the cavities 12 to expand and release the chalks.
