[Class 141] Foundation g a r - ments comprise elastic side sections extending from the top to the bottom to cover the region of the hips and thighs and composed of interwoven threads, some or all of rubber, extending in two directions on the bias. As shown, the front and back panels 3, 4 are of material stretchable only vertically while the side panels 5, 6 are stretchable in two directions on the bias. The garment may be made entirely of material stretchable in two directions on the bias, or the side panels may include intermediate panels stretchable vertically only.
