Abstract
522,103. Vehicle wheel suspensions EAGLE ENGINEERING CO., Ltd., and COLLIER, E. R. W. Dec. 1, 1938, No. 34974. [Class 108 (ii)] An independent wheel suspension applicable to trailer vehicles comprises a bracket 4 depending from the frame 3, connected to the corresponding bracket on the opposite side by a strut. A tubular arm 7 carries a sleeve 6 pivoted on the bracket 4, and at the other end a sleeve 8 having a projection 8a pivoted to a link 9 having alternative pivots for connection to a leaf spring 10. One side of the sleeve 8 carries the overhanging wheel axle 11 and a stop 8b coacts with a stop 13 on the frame to limit the wheel lift.
