521,178. Two-part couplings ; switch cases. TUCKER & CO., Ltd., J. H., and MILLING- TON, S. A. Nov. 12, 1938, No. 32954. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVII] A flush-mounted wall fitting is provided with a chamber at the rear having sufficient capacity for the slack of the cable and having a removable cover and cable inlets, so that the use of a separate wall box is dispensed with, the fitting being mounted on a frontal plate. A switch fitting, Fig. 2, having a dished frame f to which a cover plate g, h is attached, has a chamber a secured to the rear and closed by a cover plate b. Several cable inlets are formed in the plate b and covered by a sliding or rotary disc d that closes all but one. Alternatively the chamber may be formed as a cup or dishshaped attachment j, Fig. 5, in the sides of which are cable inlets j<3> closed by knock-out portions. The cover-securing screw c, j<1> may connect with the earthing socket fitting, for example i<1>, Fig. 5.
