Abstract

514,787. Piston extrusion apparatus. PIMAZZONI, 0., and MARENGHI, G. May 16, 1938, No. 14527. [Class 102 (ii)] In a container 1 for paste, provided with a finger-operated piston 7, the latter is formed integrally with a depending peripheral flange to engage the container wall or walls, and with a plurality of inner depending ribs or flanges 8a, 8b. Preferably the container 1 and piston 7 are circular in cross-section, and the piston has a conical upper surface corresponding to the conical surface 2 of the container 1, and also a projection 11 to enter the discharge orifice 12 of the container to complete the expulsion of the paste. The ribs 8a, 8b may be cylindrical and of equal or unequal length, or they may be arranged in the form of a grid.
