513,033. Yarns. BRITISH CELANESE, Ltd. Dec. 9, 1937, No. 34126. Void. Convention date, Dec. 11, 1936. [Class 120 (iii)] A yarn is made from a fibre mixture containing artificial fibres of at least two different denier, the artificial fibres may be of the same or different materials, may be of small and large denier and the mixture may contain fibres of medium denier. Cellulose acetate fibres may be used and the mixture may contain animal, e.g. wool fibres, the fibres of at least one of the different deniers may have a crimp pre-imposed therein. Mixtures of up to 50 parts of animal fibres, e.g., 30 parts wool, 20-45 parts, e.g., 35 parts of small denier artificial fibres, and 20-45 parts, e.g., 35 parts of large denier artificial fibres are described.
