Abstract

513,020. Sliding-clasp fast-nets. CORNER, G. H. C., and LIGHTNING FASTENERS, Ltd. March 30. 1938, No. 9782. [Class 44] Sliding-clasp fasteners, in particular those with non-metallic sliders and fastener members, have the bottom connecting stop which secures the two stringer tapes together made of metal but concealed by a non-metallic envelope individual thereto. The metal bottom connecting stop 6 is U-shaped and has arms with channels 8, 9 clamped on to the tape beadings; the envelope 7 is secured by cementing to the tapes and if desired to the lowermost fastener member. The complete bottom connecting stop does not extend beyond the lines of the fastener members 3, 4. Specifications 426,961 and 444,405 are referred to.
