Jan. 10, 1938, No. 672, [Class 56] A timing-device for pneumatically-operated machines for feeding or shaping glass has one or more valves which are moved positively in opposite directions by cams at the ends of the valves, each cam moving a valve in one direction only and being infinitely variable relatively to the other cams. The timing unit 10 is composed of a number of cylinders 11, each containing a spool valve 12 which is moved in one direction or the other by cams 44 that strike projections 13 on the ends of the valves. The cam shafts 28, 29 are driven in unison with one another by a shaft 25, and the cams may be adjusted with respect to the shafts 28, 29 by the means described in Specification 509,021, [Group XXIV].
