Abstract
508,669. Alloys. WARREN, S. F. (Heraeus Ges., W. C.). Feb. 16, 1939, No. 5228. [Class 82 (i)] Alloys for jewellery contain 25-55 per cent of gold, 2-6 per cent of palladium, 10-30 per cent of silver, 9-25 per cent of zinc, the remainder being at least 5 per cent of copper. The ratio of the copper and zinc contents may be 2 : 1. The alloys may be made by alloying the appropriate quantities of gold with an alloy comprising the other metals in the stated proportions.
