508,053. Composition fuel. WIL. LIAMS, H., and BENNETT, N. F. BETTE-. Sept. 24, 1937, No. 12486/38. Divided out of 508,000. [Class 50] Artificial fuel blocks comprising pulverized coal, coke breeze or anthracite mixed with oil and a binder are wrapped in waxed or glace paper, &c., forming an air-tight covering. A cylindrical block may be wrapped in a square piece of paper, the ends of which are sealed as by heat or by an adhesive or labels &c., preventing rapid escape of smoke and facilitating superficial carbonization. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 25814/13, 117,474, 230,252, [all in Class 50], and 413,077.
