504,375. Pistons &c. NON-DRIP MEASURE CO., Ltd., BERWICK, F. W., and BERWICK, A. C. Aug. 20, 1937, No. 22910. [Class 122 (i)] In a piston &c. comprising a resilient washer a clamped between a member c having an upwardly extending rim h and a member b having an upwardly extending rim or a bevelled lower portion, the washer has an unsupported frusto-conical skirt portion i bearing at its outer edge only on the cylinder wall. The washer may be moulded to form or may be deformed from a disc by clamping between the members b, c. The skirt portion may be expanded, by a spring n retained by a washer o.
