Abstract

400,820. Horseshoes. WHITAKER, E., College Farm, Ampthill Road, and VEITCH, W., 1, Rosamond Road, both in Bedford. Feb. 6, 1933, No. 3525. [Class 67.] A non-skid stud for horseshoes and the like comprises a block a of non- slipping material with a recess b in its base formed by a straight sided tapered wall c connected at the apex by a short curved concave surface d to afford selfclearance of material lodging in the recess. The recess is approximately one-third the depth of the stud. The studs may be provided with an attaching flange e as shown.
