Abstract
503,017. Dispensing liquids. REES, S., and LLEWELLYN, D. Sept. 25, 1937, No. 26038. [Class 102 (iii)] A container L is gripped between a cover 0 and a collar P into which the pump cylinder Q, having ports X<1> and a spring-loaded delivery valve V, is fitted. The piston K is operated by rods F<1>, F<2>, F<3> through a lever D pivoted on the handle A carried by the cover O. A trip member H is pivoted on the lever D and on upward movement of the lever D, it engages the lever C and through the rod E opens the valve J until the end of the stroke of the lever D, when the lever U moves to allow the valve J to close. When the lever D returns by the action of the spring B, the member H pivots and allows the lever D to move to its extreme position. A catch V is raised and engages the lever D to move the piston K to cover the ports X<1> when the apparatus is not in use.
