502,351. Television receivers. BAIRD TELEVISION, Ltd., and RIDGEWAY, D. V. Sept. 14, 1937, No. 24962. [Class 40 (iii)] The earth end of the resistance 4 of a resistance-capacity coupling 3, 4 to the modulating electrode 2 of a magnetically focused cathode-ray tube 1 is isolated from earth, when the receiver is switched off, to leave on the modulating electrode a potential which corresponds substantially with the full negative charge of the condenser.
