Abstract

499,863. Boxes. TRIGGS, W. W. (Kunstanstalt Etzold & Kiessling Akt.-Ges.) May 28, 1937, No. 14830. [Class 18] A box comprises an inner tray-like member, Fig. 1, and an outer frame, Fig. 2, whose sides carry extensions f which are bent over to close the mouth of the box. In this closed position, the extensions overlap, form a dome over the mouth of the box, and are held closed by a draw-string passing through holes m. The inner member comprises a base B and sides a with extensions c, d which are folded over against the inner faces of the sides, and tabs b carried by alternate sides a are enclosed between the adjacent sides a and extensions c. The frame is bent to tubular form to surround the inner member and is so secured by a tab i, and flaps g on alternate sides are inserted through slots e in the base of the inner member. Alternate sides of the frame carry doubledover, adhesively secured strengthening flaps h from which tabs can be cut out and stuck to the' bottom of the tray.
