Abstract

498,102. Sealing leading-in conductors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. (Patent- Treuhand-Ges. f³r Elektrische Gl³hlampen) Dec. 13, 1937, No. 34493. Drawings to Speci. fication. [Class 36] Prior to sealing a plurality of adjacent conductors through glass, part of at least one of the conductors is coated with a layer of material having a high electrical resistance, this part being so located that, in the finished seal, part of the conductor within the seal is coated and part uncoated. The coating may be effected by dipping it into or spraying it with a suspension of zirconia in alcohol after drying, the layer is dipped in collodion.
