Abstract
498,087. Conduits, tunnels, &c. MUIRHEAD, W., and BOUCHER, C. L. Nov. 3, 1937, No. 30071. [Class 85] [Also in Group I] Conduits, tunnels, sewers, drains, and the like are formed by placing short lengths of plain - ended tube a, b, concentrically with the joints staggered, and filling the intermediate space c with concrete or grout. When the tubes are of concrete, steel reinforcement may be provided in the thickness of the tube, or wound round the tube. Distance blocks may space the tubes before the concrete &c. is filled in.
