Abstract

A closure for a metal container suitable for holding small doses of compressed or liquefied gas, e.g. insecticidal gas, comprises a tapered metal plug co-operating with a neck-like external elongation of the container, the nature and dimensions of the elongation and plug being such that on driving in the plug the elastic limit of the material of the elongation is not exceeded.
