495,429. Yarn clearers. HOLT, Ltd., T., and BRIERLEY, E. June 8, 1937, No. 15803. [Class 120 (ii)] A slub-catcher or clearer of the oscillatable comb or blade type is provided with shrouding means comprising a stationary spring curl 21 for the adjusting screws 20 of the comb or blade plates 16, which are pivoted about pins 15 so that they are readily movable for cleaning and automatically return to normal position, arms 23 being provided to facilitate threading.
