Abstract
493,336. Peeling vegetables. KUHN, K. July 12, 1937, No. 19317. Convention date, July 11, 1936. [Class 28 (ii)] The rotary disc of a peeling-machine is formed with a number of peeling elements a standing out from its surface and having cutting-edges b which face the centre of the disc. As the vegetables are thrown outwards by centrifugal force they are caused to roll across the edges b and are peeled. By stamping out the elements a in the form of tongues, openings d are formed for the removal of the peelings as they are cut.
