Abstract

486,836. Vehicle lamps projecting polarized light. ZEISS IKON AKT.-GES. Oct. 9, 1937, No. 27510. Convention date, Dec. 3, 1936. [Class 75 (iv)] A vehicle is provided with a lighting system which projects plane polarized light rearwardly. The plane of polarization of the light projected rearwardly by the lamps 5 is at right-angles to that of the light projected forwardly by the headlamps 2, and to that of the light transmitted by the analyzer 3 on the windscreen.
