Abstract
486,720. Auxiliary change admission devices. TRUBSHAWE, C. W. Oct. 15, 1937, No. 28090. [Class 7 (ii)] Auxiliary air is admitted to the induction pipe through a pipe 5 containing a cut-off valve 13 when the engine suction is sufficient to draw air through a tube 10 dipping into water or other liquid in a tank 6. The level of the liquid is determined by a stoppered filling tube 11 located at a substantial depth below the top of the tank.
