Abstract
486,237. Plate heat - exchangers. GELDBACH, W. March 19, 1937, No. 8088. [Class 64 (iii)] A heat-exchanger for use in plant for separating nitrogen and oxygen from the air by liquefaction comprises spiral ducts 1, 2, having inlet ports 1<1>, 21 for separated oxygen and nitrogen respectively, and an intermediate duct 4 through which pass pipes 5 connected to inlet and outlet headers 6, 7 respectively for compressed air. Oxygen or nitrogen may be passed through the duct 4.
