Abstract
482,533. Making foam. MORRIS, C. Dec. 30, 1936, No. 35675. [Class 47 (ii)] In a pump for delivering foam or water and having separate inlets B<1>- B<3> for foaming agent, water, and air respectively, the inlets B<1>, B2 are provided with stop valves b<1>, b2 and the air inlet B3 is provided with a coupling b<3> for the ready attachment of a suction hose. If water alone is to be pumped, the valves b<1>, b2 are closed and a hose, connected to a source of water, is attached at the coupling b3. The discharge conduit C of the pump is a T-piece, the limb C<1> leading to a foam-mixing chamber and the limb C<2> being for the delivery of water alone, both limbs comprising valves or other closing means.
