Abstract

481,488. Toothbrushes. LORENTZ, E. Sept. 24, 1937, No. 25933. [Class 19] A toothbrush is provided with rigid rods b, Fig. 2, of hard rubber, celluloid, artificial resin or the like covered with soft rubber caps c of bud shape to penetrate between the teeth and massage the gums. The rubber caps can easily be replaced, cleaned and disinfected. The handle of the brush may be forked at the end d, Fig. 1, to carry a thread f of rubber or other material to pass between the teeth. Also in the end of the handle two carriers k, Fig. 3, may be provided for tufts l of bristles or soft rubber. The carriers are held in metal frames i and are replaceable.
