480,366. Edge-runner mills. WHITEHOUSE, D. Aug. 28, 1936, No. 23638. [Class 59] In a clay &c. grinding-mill, the bedplate comprises a plurality of solid co-planar grinding surfaces separated from each other by a ridge which projects above and lies transversely of said surfaces. The bedplate is made in two semicircular parts 1, 1 bolted to a base by studs 2. The upper surface of the plate is provided with projecting radial &c. ribs 5, which may vary in cross-section along the length of the ridge.
