Abstract
478,517. Cables. BRITISH INSULATED CABLES, Ltd., and ALLEN, H. R. July 25, 1936, No. 20643. [Class 36] To prevent corrosion and electrolysis of the metal sheath 5 of a cable for use in damp stuations the sheath is surrounded by a seamless extruded covering 6 of non- metallic, waterproof and plastic material, such as the material known under the Registered Trade Mark "Pemax." The covering is formed with ribs 8 extending substantially parallel with the axis of the cable. Specifications 24590/01, [Class 70], and 318,361, [Class 36], are referred to.
