475,740. Mounting boiling-burners on gas fires &c. CANNON IRON FOUNDRIES, Ltd., and CLAYTON, R. T. May 25, 1936, No. 14669. [Classes 75 (i) and 126] A gas fire or heater has a separate boiling- burner c and burner tube h slidable within the casing a of the fire or heater through an opening b in its walls. The burner tube h is slidable over a fixed gas-supply tube m with an injector nozzle at its end. Air inlet slots l in the tube h are adjacent the nozzle n when the tube h is in the extended position. The tube h slides in brachets j, k, which are notched for the passage of a rib p on the tube h, so that while sliding the tube is held in the position shown. This rib is broken so that the tube, when fully extended can be rotated to bring horizontal the burner head c and the cranked end of the tube h carrying it. The rib p then abuts against the lugs q on the brackets j, k. Lugs r limit rotation in the opposite direction.
