Abstract
471,076. Lamps. EVERHARDS, J. April 15, 1936, No. 10834. [Classes 75 (iii) and 75 (iv)] In a lamp mounted on a headband a, particularly for doctors' use, light, projected by an electric lamp o and a condenser lens k in a tube g, is reflected by an inclined plane mirror l through an opening m in the tube on to a concave reflector f which reflects the light forwardly past the tube as a uniform conical beam. As shown, the tube g is adjustably mounted by means of a slotted arm n<1> and a screw n on an arm e on a ball joint d, mounted on the headband a and secured by a screw-head in an adjusted position, the reflector f being rigidly connected to the arm. The lampholder h is slidable in the tube g, which may be provided with ventilation holes.
