Abstract

468,998. Electric cooking apparatus. WALTERSPEIL, A. Nov. 2, 1936, No. 29819. [Class 39 (iii)] The top plate of the casing A is provided with a plurality of openings beneath which are provided recesses for receiving cooking- vessels d<1>, d<2>, the recesses being formed by heating elements c which also serve to warm the large space g underneath the elements. The heating elements are supported on carriers e attached to the top plate and part of them may be cut out when desired. A louvred casing h arranged in the space g and provided with heating elements i serves as a warming chamber. A water heater may be arranged in the space g. An additional aperture may be provided in the top plate for a corrugated grill plate r, Fig. 5, heated by elements mounted in a carrier u fixed to the top plate. A cooking- apparatus as described in Specification 440,088 may be mounted on an extension forming a cupboard. The cooking vessels are formed with curved peripheral flanges f resting on convex flanges b<1> around the apertures.
