[Class 99 (ii)] [Also in Group XIII] A heat-insulated conduit suitable for ventilation in mines comprises a sheet metal pipe 2 surrounded by a sheet metal casing 3, the intervening space containing a corrugated tubular member 4 which divides the air space helically. The section of the corrugation may be curved or angular. The ends of the casing 3 are closed by flanges 8.
