Abstract
464,541. Anti-ballooning arrangements for ring frames. SOC. ANON. FRANCAISE DU FERODO. May 25, 1936, No. 14751. Convention date, June 7, 1935. [Class 120 (ii)] Anti-ballooning arrangements for ring frames comprise wire rings 2, 3 with tangential or oblique openings to facilitate threading respectively carried by standards 7 secured to the ring rail and by standards 10 adapted to be supported by the spindle rail, the arrangement being such that when winding the lower parts of the cop, the wires are spaced as shown in Fig. 1 and later are in contact as shown in Fig. 3, whereby the balloon is adequately controlled throughout the building of the cop.
