[Class 135] [Also in Group XXVIII] A vessel e partially filled with hydrocarbons liquefied under pressure through a manually opened valve f<2>, from a storage container a, is provided with a regulating valve h for the outlet of compressed vapour controlled by a spring-loaded diaphragm k through a cranked lever m<1> opposed by a spring and acting on a lever o acting on the valve by a spring. The lever m<1> acts on the lever o through cam parts so that when the outlet vapour pressure in the valve casing acting on the diaphragm is unduly low or high the valve is held closed. The spring l of the diaphragm bears on a cap r<11> resting on the diaphragm, and this cap and the spring may be retracted by lever r allowing manual closure of the valve. The vessel e may be filled by a pump c, or by a vapour suction pump g<1>. A regulatable overflow controls the degree of filling, which may alternatively be effected by gravity.
