461,261. Ironing-presses. McINTYRE, A. B. Aug. 13, 1935, No. 22817. [Class 138 (ii)] The buck 12 of an ironing - press is provided 'with a pad of absorbent material between the usual cover 30 and an apertured plate 25 positioned above perforated pipes 28 and the electric heating unit 22. Water is admitted to the pipes 28 from a reservoir 31 through a pump 33 which may be of the piston type and manually actuated or, as shown, automatically operated through the lever 36 actuated by the closing of the press.
