454,334. Ironing-presses. JOHNSON, G. W., 1750, Northcutt Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. Oct. 2, 1935, No. 27210. [Class 138 (ii)] The buck of an ironing-press is formed with a chamber 7 wherein cooling fluid is circulated beneath the plate 13 having upstanding projections 17 on which the perforated plate 14 supporting the spring padding is positioned. The chamber 8 thus formed above the plate 13 is provided with a central well 8a from which the water of condensation is discharged through a pipe 12.
