Abstract
The gum-receiving recess of a complete or partial lower denture is fitted with a thin detachable lining of cotton-wool, cellulose-wool or the like which has been impregnated with an adhesive with or without an antiseptic, suitably with a weak solution of carbolic acid in which gum arabic has been dissolved. Specification 14677/08, [Class 81], is referred to. The Provisional Specification refers also to woven material for lining the denture, states that the materials may be used without impregnation, or with an antiseptic only, and refers to dentures with an integral lining of soft material such as spongy rubber.
