Abstract

460,268. Pumps for grout and the like. ANNISON, R. H. July 26, 1935, No. 24591 /36. Divided out of 460,256. [Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group X] A plant for delivering grout or the like comprises a pump A, a mixing-apparatus 40, and a motor unit 46, mounted on a trolley 38. The motor may be an electric motor, or a steam or pneumatic engine. As shown, an internal-combustion engine is employed, having a cooling unit 47, and driving a shaft 45 through speed-reducing gearing 50. The mixing-apparatus is driven through bevelgearing 44, which can be coupled to the shaft 45 by means of a clutch 53, and the pump shaft 37 can be connected to the shaft 45 by means of a clutch 55. The pump may be of the kind described in Specification 460,256. A grinder may be associated with the mixing- apparatus.
