Abstract
457,899. Lubricating pumps. BLISS, J., 30, Cheapside, London. Aug. 29, 1935, No. 24172. [Class 102 (i)] [See also Group XXXIV] Rollers 13 of a conveyer are lubricated by a pump 17, the plunger 18 of which is forced upward by the lever 36 when the rollers 13 pass. The stroke of the lever is adjusted by the screw stop 39. Oil passes from the container 16 through the filter 21 and ball valves 22, 23 to the bore 17. The upper end of the cylinder is provided with a cock 46 to allow air to be removed. Oil passes from the cylinder through port 29 to two outlet pipes, one on each side, the direction of which can be adjusted by ball- and-socket joints.
