Abstract
513,388. Lubricators. FARVAL CORPORATION. Jan. 10, 1939, No. 866. Convention date, Jan. 31, 1938. [Class 12 (iii)] An oil distributer for expressing measured quantities of oil alternately from outlets 4 and 4<1> connected with bearings to be lubricated comprises a series of transverse bores 3, pistons 7 therein, and a cylindrical valve 10 rotatable by hand to connect in turn through passages 11 therein the fuller sides of the bores with the outlets 4 or 4<1>, oil being supplied under pressure to the pistons through a non-return valve in a, vertical bore in the distributer body, or annular groove on the valve 10 and a longitudinal groove 13 registering with one row of the canals 6. External stops limit the rotation of the valve 10 and the piston strokes may be adjusted by screw plugs 8a.
