Abstract
457,799. Closures for bottles and other liquid receptacles. SVOBODOVA, M., ASCHER, V., and NOVAK, F., (trading as DUFA M. SVOBODOVA A SPOL), 34, Hybernska, Prague. June 5, 1935, Nos. 16392 and 16393. Convention dates, June 5, 1934 and Aug. 8, 1934. [Class 125 (iii)] Closures for perfume bottles applicable also to other receptacles for liquid at normal or increased pressure and to motor car radiators comprise a yoke 4 provided with pivot pins 5 carried in slots in an apertured stopper 3, and a spring 7, so that the yoke is slidable over the co-operating surface of the stopper and is retained in any position by the spring. A circular projection 10 on the yoke engages a snap groove in the stopper in the closed position, and a packing ring 11 may be provided. Instead of a single spring, a spring may be housed at each side in a recess in the stopper or in the yoke. The closure may be integral with the bottle or detachably secured thereto, or may be applied to cork stoppers.
