[Class 98 (ii)] In preparing etched intaglio printing rollers, the picture is printed by contact onto the sensitized copper cylinder a, the picture carrier b being secured in place by a transparent band c, for example, of celluloid, wound round in spiral form and held in place by clamps or rubber rings d. The width of the picture carrier is equal to the length of the cylinder. The cylinder may be rotated during printing.
